ADVANTAGES OF POOL WATER OZONIZATION TECHNOLOGY:

  1. Ozone is the strongest oxidizing agent among all those used in water treatment;

  2. The mechanism of the effect of ozone on pathogens excludes addiction and the formation of any forms that would be resistant to ozone;

  3. Ozone is an environmentally friendly oxidizing agent, tk. It is formed from atmospheric oxygen and, after dissolving in water, quickly turns back into oxygen;

  4. Residual ozone sterilizes pool surfaces. Disinfection of recycled water reaches maximum efficiency, ozone destroys bacteria, viruses and cysts;

  5. Ozone oxidizes organic pollutants brought into the water by pool visitors - sweat, fats, saliva, urine, cosmetics, detergents, etc.;

  6. The active nature of ozone allows   to destroy enzyme systems of algae, and therefore - to make it impossible for their further reproduction and existence in general;

  7. All organic matter is destroyed by ozone, the chemical need of water for chlorine is reduced to a minimum, the addition of active chlorine to the water to prolong the effect of disinfection practically does not lead to the formation of caustic chloramines, the dose of chlorine to maintain the residual concentration in the bowl is reduced. The need for shock chlorination is eliminated;

  8. Ozone oxidizes impurities at any pH of water. Reducing the amount of chlorine reagents leads to stabilization of the pH of water, pH correction can be done much less frequently;

The use of ozone in pool water treatment systems is a unique technology. Ozone is a much more powerful oxidizing agent than chlorine. Ozone is an active form of oxygen and the products of its reaction with organic compounds are ordinary, familiar to humans, oxygen-containing organic substances. Oxygen-containing reaction products are incomparably less toxic than organochlorine substances. When calculating the ozonation system, it is necessary to take into account: the load and parameters of the pool, the turnover rate and the water temperature.

The most promising solution is AOPs technology - the use of ozone and ultraviolet radiation. Ozone dissolved in water decomposes under the influence of ultraviolet radiation with the formation of active OH radicals. Unlike ozone, OH radicals react almost instantly, oxidize all impurities and do not leave the zone of the contact chamber. Organic compounds are oxidized in this case to the end, without intermediate compounds. The system is compact and reliable. This technology reduces the time for water disinfection and oxidation of impurities, which is very important for reducing the cost of operating a water treatment system.

 

STAGES OF WATER PURIFICATION IN POOLS:

  1. Mechanical filtration of water from suspended and colloidal particles on sorption filters of a new generation.

  2. Water disinfection and oxidation of dissolved organic compounds by photolytic ozonation.

  3. Ultrafiltration of water from dissolved organic compounds.

  4. Decomposition (destruction) of residual ozone in the recycled water of the pool.

OLD WATER CHLORINATION TECHNOLOGY:

The traditional solution involves filtering water through mechanical filters with sand or coal loading, using coagulants and flocculants. DISADVANTAGES OF WATER CHLORINATION TECHNOLOGY:
